DAW Remote HD App Reviews

So far,this app works very well. I was up and running with control of Logic Pro 9 in about one minute! On board guide popped up, made it very easy for me to set up. Interface is pleasing to the eye. I can now sit back and listen to my recording project, give my hands a rest from the keyboard and mouse, tweak Logic Pro transport and mixer values on the fly....I did not have to read a manual yet...... Responsiveness is good. Price is reasonable.

I bought this app a few months back and I love it but there has been no updates in almost a year? Did I buy an app that is no longer actively developed cause that would be a shame. I use studio one 2.5 mainly and I know there could be some upgraded usability for the interface layout. Also, it drops connection more frequent than it should. I hope the developer has something in store as far as updates for this great product. Cant give 5 stars given the current lack of updates.

This is a great program so far, ive tried several programs but they each have had issues, some didnt work, others were $50. This one has all the bells and whistles and run great on my iPad, I will try it on my wifes iPad 2 and post again, since I saw postings early on about issues with the older ones. I would have given it 5 stars, but there are a few issues that may be resolved with me learning more about it. It seems to change the channel sliders when you press stop, but that may be something that I have done, since I just loaded it and started my analysis. I will post a more detailed review in a week or so.

Most everything worked ok, but when I got to the shuffle/jog wheel, the thing I wanted most, it failed. No way to switch between the two. Shuffle only did whole measures. Locked up several times trying to shuttle. The write up said you could create your own control, but failed to tell you Pro Tools is the ONLY DAW that you cannot do this with. Documentation was awful, no help other than setup. Too bad...it looked promising for a decent price.

Doesnt get much better than this. The author has created comprehensive DAW decks that work like a charm and offer themselves seamlessly to your workflow. I use it for Sonar, with the provided layout, but also for Samplitude Pro X with the super-functional Mackie Control layout. Its just super. The intelligence behind this is amazing. I now take my pad over to my drum set and control me recording transport without having to go to the PC keyboard. I walk around the studio to various instruments and control the transport, levels and all track functions from my pad. FREEDOM AND FUNCTION! I would have paid $30 for this, or more.

So I paid, I downloaded, I opened Logic Pro 9, I booted up my iPad, opened the app, chose the Logic Pro view, made a few clicks, and it was controlling my recording session with no glitches of any kind, it WORKED! best app for Logic, cant say for other DAWs. The jog wheel feature was worth the purchase and the different banks of sliders reminded me of Behringers X32 board. Great app, keep em coming. Great price too, not 50 bucks?? :/

An absolutely amazing app – thank you for making this and making it so well!!! Works perfectly on my system (MPBr OSX 10.9.2, ProTools 11.1.2). The GUI is gorgeous and well-laid-out. Considering how few in number good ProTools control surfaces there are (and how expensive they are), this App is perfect for a Pro Tools home studio (or even pro-studio considering the useful addition of low-latency wireless control).

Beware, if you do as I did and plunk down $15 thinking it will work on the latest Pro Tools, guess what? It does not due to Wifi settings.

This app is awesome by using a PC program rtp midi and a wifi connection,I am able to run 80% of Sonar X2. The fader and rotary control is sick not to mention the GUI is also a neat and clean environment. Well worth the cost and setup time.

I use this app with my pc and setup was easy. I have zero latency and this was a much better value then buying a physical daw controller for hundreds of dollars. Its not perfect but this definitely helped my work flow and added some eye candy to my set up.

This would be great but I have pro tools 11. This app hasnt been updated since 2011. Wish I checked that before purchasing.

I was thinking of some expensive controller for my Pro Tools software. But then I purchased my iPad & then found this app. I couldnt believe all this architecture & quality in a $15 app. EUMLabs are true pioneers. I noticed the reviews all seemed to give great remarks except for developer support for future upgrades. This does concern me a little but I already feel way ahead in my small investment.

Ok so I downloaded the app on my iPad , no problem there but when I tried to download the rpt midi on my laptop thats where it went south .Long story short this does not work and I wish I could just get a refund on this app .i even had to take the laptop to a friend to get the program off my laptop ( it would not let my uninstall it !!!)

This app is a joke and waste of time. The manual does not open in iBooks or any other way. No midi support through iconnect midi - waste of money and time.
